SYD Ringside is looking for sponsors to fund for a defibrillator being installed in the Parish rooms. We have 2 secondary sponsors available for companies or people who would kindly like to sponsor us. The principal sponsor is unavailable due to ongoing negotiations with an unnamed local company. Anybody who would like to sponsor us, please email us at sydringsideboxing@gmail.com. 

SYD Ringside Boxing Club will pack its bags from our current home at De Lacy to the Parish Rooms, which is located to the left of St. Botolph’s Church, just 3 minutes away from De Lacy Academy. This is due to the principle of De Lacy Academy electing to renovate the school’s sporting facilities. Further details will follow about our relocation. De Lacy Academy has been home to SYD for nearly six years, and our time here will come to an end on the 8th of July 2026, when our final session will take place. We know the transition will not be smooth, but with the help of everyone dedicated to SYD, it can be made as smooth as possible. All the coaches hope that you understand the decision and stick with us at the tough times. 

SYD Ringside Boxing Club will hold it‘s final session at De lacy academy on the 15th of July as we relocate to the Parish rooms in the coming weeks. We also request that members of the club help the coaches out on Sunday morning at 9:00 PM to move the stuff out and transport it safely to the Parish rooms. We thank everyone for their continued support and we hope to see everyone raring to train at the Parish rooms. 

Unfortunately, SYD Ringside will be closed until further notice. There isn’t a date we expect to be open by. This is due to the Parish rooms, not us. We were expected to open next week as everything is ready to reopen. We thank everyone for their patience and continued support.
